ColdFusion is a little outdated and I can't say I'm overly fond of the zebra butts, but overall it's a decent looking site. My only real complaint would be that the page header scrolls but the background doesn't. For some reason that really bothers me. It seems to me that either the header should be stationary or the entire page should scroll. Just my two cents... take it for what you will.

Agreed on the zebra butts.
I also think the scrolling doesn't work. Making the header and footer stationary would probably help a lot.
However, for me your layout makes the individual chunks of content look like they're meant to be independent objects, and they're not. The scrolling - objects moving in formation across a background - is a big part of this.

The look is good, though. There's a good visual sense to it.

A few things.. that background... really? You are going to use that one? I know this image is nearly as exploited as Africa's resources but did you find the image owner and ask permission to use it?

Same with the sweets image.

I hope this site is partners with SOGO - else they may be a wee bit angry at ripping off their solar panel image.
http://sogo-group.co...desc&pro_id=464

... and the blue-red ocean - that's been around.

The company logo text is difficult to read.

I am also always a fan of the company logo being a click back to the home.

I am also a fan of the navigation links staying highlighted to show which page you are on.

Jim Lutzweiler's image is broken.

Philip Usiba is a goofy looking smiley face.

Your footer's "contact us" is broken. I do also enjoy the visible link saying: info@afriscope.com and the email, in theory, pops up with: Enquiries@AfricanCommercialDevelopment.com .

I wonder what http://www.afriscope.org/ / http://www.afriscope.net/ thinks of a company with a similar name running around.

Over all.. not bad - but the images are worn out and not particularly unique. Though it's nice to see you are using IIS7

Aside from what has been previously mentioned, I'm not a fan of the orangish text for the Contact Us Footer on an orange background. Contact Information should be clear and easily legible.

I also find the Header scrolling and the background being stationary a wee bit unsettling. Multiple changes that can alleviate that, but something to consider. If you do keep the same background image, I'd consider changing your Header. The blatant change from dried grass in the background to the green healthy grass in the Header is just off to me.

Not the worst I've ever seen personally, but a few visual changes could really enhance the appeal of this site.

Listen to everything modi123_1 mentioned and you'll be on the right track. He's a Genius.

Thanks for the feedback but even though you say ColdFusion is outdated there are a few people that would beg to differ with you.

They launching some great enhancements.

There are also people who think Flash is "the wave of the future". Doesn't mean they're right. :)
