Or you can sell your 'common house hold items' on eBay, using the profits to purchase professional quality wine.

Who said that it can not be of professional quality, all it takes is just a little trial and error :)
Anyway, I am a supporter of real wine, these things make you a hangover with very painful headache.

No offence at all actually, it was just sarcasm, I don't think that it will ever taste like real wine..

HA, I can buy even cheaper wine than that and it's a real quality wine.
For only 2$ and something.

Yes, that is actually true here, too. However I think we can't beat the "party wine" discussed at the bottom of the page...

I have a job. I can afford things, such as cheap wine.

However one thing I don't have is time, to make my own wine.

I've been making wine since I was 13 and beer since 15.
It's weird, I was allowed to buy all the equipment for making alcohol as a kid because therer was no actual alcohol involved.

I can get decent cheap wine from France but I still think the occasional homebrew is worth the effort.

I was going to attend a wine making class at a winery this week. I guess this will have to do.
