Unsure of application

I am a final year student studying ICT. I have been asked to create an online bibliography where users can delete, add and edit resources. What is the best software application to create this on? :helpsmilie:

There is no "best" software. There is a lot of "good" software though. Which suits your needs best depends on your skills and your personal preference.

A popular software combo for new web developers is PHP and MySQL. It's arguably the easiest one to get started with. Another popular combo is ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server.
