I have to create a crystal report where the client wants all the information displayed at the beginning kinda like a summary followed by each pages of the summary information broken down by customers.
I am stumped on how to do this.
When I create the group by it groups all the information including the part where I think should be summary and not group.
any pointer in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

You could just do the summary in some SQL query, load it there and display it, and load up the client information for the rest of the report.

I thought about that but the parameters that are required prohibit the sql summary.
What I was thinking of doing is creating a second report that will summarize the customers and use that as a sub report.
Do you think that will look ok or like garbage.

Subreports get messy fast, but I've pulled a few off that look okay. That would be my next suggestion!
