Cloud Computing

Posted 26 October 2012 - 02:39 PM

If I were a building society with multiple branches and looking for ways to reduce costs and improve returns to investors by using a cloud service for processing customer accounts, what would be the best IT cloud solution to use?

Which ever one you and your users find easiest to use and most closely matches all the business functions you want to do. Write down all the things you would like to do on your cloud, how often you want to do them, your budget, and time frames to implement it.

There isn't one magical cloud solution that just reduces costs and improves returns that will fit all organizations. If there was, everyone would be using that one and you would most likely already know about it.

Define what the company needs to do along with budget and time constraints. This will then tell you which solutions you can immediately throw away as a choice. Narrow it down until you have that solution that fits.
