Is This A Good Budget Build?

Posted 26 October 2012 - 06:05 PM

Well I'll finally have enough money either after Christmas or in August next year. Do you think this is a good build? Will everything work together? Did I go overboard on the PSU? And is there anything I can do to make it cheaper? I already have a 24x disk drive and a SATA 3.0GBps 500GB hard drive. I would love it if I could bring the price down. In the future I might add a second videocard or more hard drives.

First Budget Build - Newegg

Edit: Does it have enough cooling in it? I won't be playing graphic intensive games like BF3 and I don't use the computer all day so should I be okay for cooling?

There also is a possible benefit from going with an ivy bridge I3, as it uses less power saving on power supply. An i3 with the 7770 will only need 600 watts power evening out the price

You may reduce the overall price by choosing the case with a built-in power supply

very few psu's that come with cases are quality ones. A psu is one of the reusable components, so you might as well get a good one.
