I am looking for a free ASP.Net host that supports MVC 3. I am planning on creating a simple browser based mmo script to teach myself ASP.Net. I know that sound like the "I want to create a MMORPPG" joke, but i do know some programming and know enough PHP to create a simple template. What I'm also wondering is why it costs more to host a ASP.Net site then a PHP one? Yet everyone seems to be on the "Microsoft" bandwagon for some reason, can you please explain this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Aleeious

Hands down use AppHarbor. 100% free and you get a nifty foo.appharbor.com URL to test out the website live.
Deployment is EASY AS PIE. Just create a hook to either Github or BitBucket and when you push your code to either, AppHarbor fetches the latest commit and builds automatically.
