Webcam QR code reader

Posted 27 October 2012 - 09:45 AM

hello all,

i am planning to do a realtime webcam QR code reader. this application would be integrated to a bulk checkout system.
My question is where do i start?

i research a little at the internet. there is some tips and guideline

first step is to write a program

1. enable camera to grab the qr code image
2. program which decode the code
3. program which input decoded code to excel or any place which shows the data has been input.

i would appreciate if anybody could give some advice on where can i see sample of programs for the step i listed.
thank you very much

Sorry for the late reply ...

I use zxing in both c++ and c#. The c# port is a little incomplete, but does 3 of 9 and qrcode very well.

Just link it in a call the methods. It is very easy to use and comes with the source.
