[Syfer]

Since my problem is about database i decided to post it here so here's my problem
i'm using a appserv and i used its localhost/phpmyadmin as a database for my forums
but recently the database got corrupted and we don't know the reason why so i reloaded the database and poof it says "phpmyadmin - error #1130 - Host 'localhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server "

and i tried replacing the phpmyadmin folder with a new one but it still doesn't work at all

so any idea how can i make it work?

except for re-installing the whole appserv.

that’s indeed a DB problem. the (internal) settings of the MySQL server does not allow localhost to connect. did you try to connect via the root account or via a standard user?

you mean by internal is the cmd - mysql? or ?

And i haven't tried it so
how will i allow the localhost/phpmyadmin to run?

something like mysql.conf. or where the server saves its settings (that may be broken due to the corruption).

get the settings right. in the worst case re-install MySQL.

How can i get it right? since i haven't ever since touched the settings of mysql

tbh, ask someone who has experience in messing with a MySQL server.
