hello, i have a simple question. If someone would want to hide system clock in windows xp, they would have the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer - HideClock, which is a dword value (value 0 shows the clock, 1 hides it). Now, i dont know if this is a problem only for my Windows 7 operating system or is a global one, but that registry key is empty, no "HideClock" value is there. Does anyone know which equivalent exists for that key? a search through the registry for "HideClock" didnt return any results. Or, does anyone know any other method to programaticaly hide system clock, without involving registry settings? Thank you.

yes, thanks, i knew about that, but its not what i meant... i want a piece of code (maybe an API function?) or a registry key that would allow my program to automatically show/hide the system clock..

God, i'm so blind! I found that result myself, but i didn't see that it has more than one page, so i was just wondering how he could use only the functions described on first page to hide the clock... i just saw the rest of the pages, thank you!
