I'm quite new to coding and especially to VB6.

The problem is, I'm writing a little program and I get the 424 error.

Private Sub cmdKlikuur_Click()
DoCmd.RunSQL "UPDATE Leerlingen SET KlikurenDezeWeek='txtKlikurendezeweek +1' WHERE Leerlingnummer = txtLeerlingnummer"
End Sub

I have no idea what to do, and I already searched other topics but they didn't help me.

Start by jumping off the ancient VB6 language. Its a legacy language used to support legacy applications. Do yourself a favor and at least come up to VB.net

This is VBA, not VB6. DoCmd is part of the Access object. If you're using VB6 and attempting to use DoCmd, it won't work. No such object, as the error says.
