I am in the process of converting a webpage to a Windows 8 app, but have hit a roadblock. The code pulls an XML document from a back end system accessible through a webpage. When I run the app the screen gets drawn but the Javascript doesn't appear to run as it never prompts to sign in to get the data. If I put a break point in to stop the code before the data is pulled it breaks as it should and when I get to the data pull I get prompted for username and password. If I put the break after the pull I don't get prompted. I am stuck if anyone can help that would be great.

At this point I am only looking for help getting past this roadblock any other issues I would prefer to try working through on my own.
