I mean that anyone would reasonably guess from your posts in this thread that you'd been sampling some of the wares allegedly offered up to these voters.

Never attribute to abuse of controlled substances what could more appropriately be attributed to prolonged exposure to heavy metals and solvents.

@Python - please don't assume that you speak for everybody from Texas.

See? SEE? This is what the fuck I'm talking about. I dealt with this shit for 4 YEARS in the Marine Corps. My buddies eventually told me that since I was born in Minneapolis, they would just pretend that I had never moved, because I was the only guy from Texas who didn't make everybody want to carpet bomb Texas. I swore up and down that all Texans weren't fucktards, but it was me against mounds and mounds of evidence...

people always ask me where my Texas accent is when I tell them I grew up in Texas....THERE IS NO FUCKING TEXAS ACCENT UNLESS YOUR PRETENDING. I do get teased for saying "fixin" and "y'all" and a few other southern idioms. A fare number of people in Texas do commonly use "fixin" and "y'all" but virtually no one has an accent(or rather Texans most commonly have the midwest American accent that Americans commonly refer to as begin the absence of an accent)

It never ceases to amaze me how all the people are "sheeple", except the people who use the word "sheeple" on the internet.

Whoa, there, pardner.. I shop at Wal-Mart and eat at McDonalds like everybody else.

I don't do either of those things.

Texas is just a big state... to many accents to account for really. Of which 1, as you point out, is a regional accent that crosses state boundaries.

Another accent is that Texarkana accent. I know that's an accent, my friend has it, hides it, and it comes out in full force when you get a couple drinks in her. (the rest of her family doesn't hide it at all)
