Ambidexterity

Ambidexterity -ability to use both hands with same ease. I have read great men such as Leonardo da Vinci can paint with both of his hands. Anybody interested in such ability?

I'm right handed, but there are a few things that I do better with my left hand than my right. Including batting. When I used to play baseball as a kid, I always batted lefty because for some reason I could hit better. There is at least one other thing that I do better with my left than my right, but this isn't the time or place.

I'm ambidextrious, it has its uses I suppose. Of course, I think I just got forced into being it.
Was left-handed, got sent to catholic school, forced into right-handed, now I use both. Paint/Draw/Sports/So on with both. Why the interest?

Sometimes, during a stint of particularly furious masturbation, I get tired and have to switch hands.

I'm somewhat ambidextrous - I play most instruments "right-handed", I bat left-handed and throw right-handed, and so forth. I've always written left-handed, but a few years ago I started using a fountain pen, and I decided to try writing right-handed. I'm not as fluid with my right as I am with my left, but I can write legibly at a reasonable rate. My handwriting of course is completely different, but that's what you'd expect.

My ranger has 17 dex and definitely took ambidexterity feat. He's pretty bad ass - especially with his magical hammer and magical short sword.

Hypothesis

"Ambidextrous People" are Brain-Damaged
In hypotheses about the origin and development of handedness the term "ambidextrous" is defined very differently and often only applied to the subjects assessing themselves. In test examinations alleged ambidextrous persons proved to be either converted left-handers or persons whose results were highly incoherent or even contradictory. Systematic investigations of the second group of subjects always revealed perinatal cerebral disturbances. This paper discusses the thesis that insufficient oxygen supply to the brain in the perinatal period of life mainly affects the function of the dominant cerebral hemisphere that is responsible for the congenital handedness. This results, phenomenally, in temporary change in the use of hands, so that the person is often wrongly diagnosed as being ambidextrous.

Both of my parents are ambidextrous. They were born left handed, but in my hometown when they were kids you were whooped with a ruler if you wrote left handed.
As a kid I was ambidextrous for quite some time... but have lost it over the years. I'm still rather ambidextrous when it comes to most things, but writing and drawing not so much... in the same respect my penmanship and drawing skills are rather shit, so it could just be that.
