yeah, that makes sense then, my dentist is actually the one who said i should get it checked out because of my tonsils.

problem is the older you get the harder the recovery period is for tonsil removal. i had a friend who was basically out of it for two weeks and change. dunno if i can afford that kind of time.

Two weeks ain't much compared to the rest of your life.
We hope.

obviously, doesn't make it any easier to pay the mortgage though.

Take loan out, and feel shitty for the next few months paying it off.

Better than being shitty for the next fifty years, I suppose. *shrug*

Well, it will in the long run, if you actually have sleep apnea. Not to dismiss immediate financial constraints, of course, but you're clever. You can figure something out.

(if you need ideas for raising money fast, ask gabehabe - I understand he has some tricks)

What' the impact of this alleged sleep debt? Is there a sleep cliff you can tumble off unless you convince yourself to bump up the sleep debt ceiling? What happens when I am over? Do I get tokens for a plush dolphin and a few hard tootsie rolls?

I am not even remotely convinced that someone else's fiction of owing some giant sleep ledger exists or applies.

Except its completely scientific. This article at the Scientific American explains everything you need to know: http://www.scientifi...tch-up-on-sleep

Quote

Go to bed when you are tired, and allow your body to wake you in the morning (no alarm clock allowed).

Because going to bed at 3pm just because you're tired is a perfectly acceptable way to keep an eye on your children. And not setting an alarm to get up in the morning would do wonders for your ability to make it to work on time.

I love studies that offer completely useless advice.

I was wondering the same thing B9. :/ How the hell am I supposed to do this? I suppose on weekends only, but that's not gonna help me much.

As of right now I get 6-7 hours of sleep and feel miserable still. I don't wanna up it to 8 or I only get 2 hours after work before I have to be in bed. @_@ F that.

My usual weekday goes 1 of 2 ways:
  • Work 8:00-5:00 (1hr Lunch), Gym 5:30-6:30, Dinner, Class 8:00-10:30pm, Bed.
  • Work 7:30-4:00 (1/2hr Lunch), Class 5:00-7:45, Dinner/Walmart, Homework, Bed.

It sounds so bland and unfulfilling when I type it :cry2:
