Hello,

I was given a Hp Pavilion dv7-4273us Entertainment PC laptop that was not working so I ran the diagnostics and found that the hard drive was damaged so I replaced it.

Here is where I started getting issues. I didn't get any disks with it. I do have a copy of windows 7 available to put on it but when i put it on the wireless drivers will not start the wireless adapter. its not visible in the adapters window and in manage its not showing as a piece of installed hardware.

My question is:

I have tried to download the drivers on the website but I have a slow connection and the one driver I download (small one) was not the one I needed because it doesn't work. That download took 50 minutes for 11.8 mb, the other is 81.9 mb.

I buy my restore disks from Restore Disks.com for about $30 after shipping. I didn't search if they have your version or not.

You can buy the restore cds from HP directly... typically thirty or forty bucks.

I ended up buying from HP for $16.00 with shipping and it was easy once I found out how to order it.
