.htaccess deny from the evil half of the world

I just got spam-bombed on my forums by users logging in using emails in Ukraine, Byelorussia and Tokelau of all places. I've got a list of htaccess deny protocols that I downloaded and implemented a couple of years ago. I never wrote down where I got it from though, so I can't go to the site to see if they have an update.

Does anyone have links to any sites that host an htaccess snippet for denying from these accursed places?

Don't know about .htaccess, but if you're using Apache perhaps you might leverage mod_security?
