I'm building out a new website for a friend for free, and I want to keep the background images. Specifically I was looking for the vertical stripe image. I also need to find the image for the "noisey" pink (I'm assuming that's an image).



I can't seem to find them using Chrome inspector, either in the resources pane or the net pane. I see a lot of loaded images, but not either of the two I'm actually looking for.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks! />

Sergio, if this wasn't you I'd swear it was some wacker trying to clone a site.

I can't tell you where to find the image, but I might suggest you'll spend more time looking than to just build a fresh image in Photoshop. Its maybe a 5 minute image.

And it looks to me like the file name is Base64 encoded in the CSS. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm seeing.

But I'm with the Klingon... it's not exactly a horribly complicated graphic to recreate.

A) I don't own photoshop, I can't afford to pay it's ridiculous cost.

Paint.NET doesn't let me create crisp images like this.

C) I'm terrible with from-scratch asset generation.

@b9: I didn't check for base64 encoded images in the CSS, I'll take a look. Good suggestion!

As far as I can see, the site has a red background, with a few semi-transparent images placed strategically over it to create the pattern. That's probably why you are having a hard time finding them. Here's where I see the overlay images in the Chrome resources inspector:



The CSS selector .body-fauxcolumns .cap-top controls the base colour.

@Atli: Thanks! That was the key to it, basically they set a background color, and overlay this transparent .png image and repeat it horizontally to achieve this striped pattern.
