Lately I've been getting into music production (house, tech) and I've been wondering if any of you have ever tried making music before. If so, any tips (and links to your stuff if its possible) would be great! I'll start: www.soundcloud.com/lysma
What kind of music do you guys make (if you make it)? It'd be great to know!

I don't really know. This is specifically about what members have made, so if the two threads are the same then it's fine. I just wasn't sure.

Eh.. I don't know what you are using for a mixing board and/or software but not overly wowed. Pretty static in patterns and lacking some sort of depth. Keep plugging at it.

Thanks. I thought so too.
OK, I'm not going to lie here. I used GarageBand '09 for all these tracks. They all came out different to wht they sounded like in GarageBand. I'm saving up for Logic Pro 9, but I've first decided to upgrade to GarageBand '11 because I couldn't put up with hardly-working not supported 3 year old software that has buttons randomly go missing. At least with GarageBand 11 I can now see what I'm doing (which has already increased my productivity).
Thanks again for the feedback. It's appreciated.
