That is why I have been building a site that is way beyond my knowledge. As I run into something here or in the manual I haven't learned I will put it on the list of things to learn while mastering the beginner things I have. I noticed early that most tutorials for the intermediate-expert parts of PHP are not that informative as they are usually outdated or in bad practice. I stick to reading articals here and finding parts of PHP in the manual to get started learning new features of the language and ask questions here when I get stumped.
One thing I know for sure is PHP has a lot to learn and there is no better way (for me) to learn than to try something new and get stuck then ask for help.
