lol true story though, Hackers has been one of my favorite movies since it came out. It's soooo lame and soooo ridiculous and hilariously inaccurate, and now I delight when it dates itself ("a 14.4 modem! wow!") but it and Tron are what really piqued my interest in computers to begin with (well, that and a couple real-life influences such as my Uncle and my dad's friend).

Jonny Lee Miller is awesome, too. Plunkett and Maclean is another of my favorite movies, and I about jumped out of my seat cheering in Dexter Season 5 when I realized he was playing Jordan Chase.

depricated: I had an uncle that could be attributed to getting me interested in computers, but then when I was 8 years old he accused me something so totally wrong an immoral that no one in the family has spoken to or of him since. We did later find out that we was in fact the one guilty of what he was accusing me of. Still no clue why he was trying to say I was doing it.

The things he was accusing me of are things you'd expect to hear about some guy in his 40's that lives alone in a house back in the woods. You know, the guy who stares just a little too long at the young girls or boys as he's driving by the local playground.
