I thought the tinsel would be fairly simple but it's more hidden ninja than the ninja.

Let the lights shine
/> Edit: You might want to blink the lights only, not all decorations (except the strand).

Good idea with the snow falling. I added beeping song. Would be great, if snow would randomly switch between ¸´˙`˛× (like strand, choosing a way of snowflake randomly), and only after it reaches the bottom line character (like ˛) continue in the next line. On top of that, with random timing for the fall. That would be super ninja. Perhaps I'll... doubt I will
Perhaps on Sunday evening I'll give it a shot. Perhaps...

It's a slow day with tours and I am working on projects not for their eyes... so I have to busy myself with something... *sigh*.

What I don't do is Invoice the time as research, development and training.

I enjoy such fun challenges more than playing games, watching TV,... It's my free time activity (one of them).

Hmm.. snow wasn't *that* bad.. though throwing it around an irregular shape like a tree might be a bit annoying.

eh.. that's probably as far as I am going to tinker with it.
Just to be clear - this indeed does track each line of snow and advances each piece of snow as the line goes down.
Example: Here I highlighted a white piece of snow in the middle.. and you can see sort of the progression of snow types.

Finally got around to loading the project in to the full version on vs2012 on my desktop. To use the analysis tools.
My solution is ~160 LoC (of executable code)
