What sorta media entertainment helps you through your achy brain after a long day of coding? This is mostly due to my running out of stuff I can think of to torrent and watch after work, but I am kinda curious as to what people are watching.

We just watched the latest episode of The Walking Dead. Also, watched a couple episodes of the IT Crowd after remembering it from a conversation earlier. Movie-wise, just watched Akira after getting tired of being bugged about it. @_@ Oh my, that was one odd anime.

Talking about how awesome or shitty a movie/anime/show/video/etc you or someone has watched is acceptable too.

I don't watch TV. I rarely watch movies. I read books and stuff.

And sometimes I find little gems of awesomeness on YouTube.

For some reason, the image of some guy humping trees won't leave my head. That was the first thing I thought of at green porn.

hahaha... I'm sure our office filters will have a field day when I type the URL for YouPorn into my browser. There will be flashing lights and air raid sirens down in the IT building.

On the nights I don't go to the gym, for me it's usually crashing on my couch and working through my DVR. Shows such as HOUSE, Perception, The Mentalist, Ink Master, Tattoo Nightmare, and the occassional Sons of Anarchy. Sadly have missed so much of the beginning I try not to pay too much attention should I decide to watch it all.

For one of those really rough days, I'll start some vinyl spinning and pour a nice Scotch on the rocks. Just lay back and let the world drift away.

Hah, I've done that a couple of times with a white russian. We got a steal on this record player and a ton of records from this old gentleman that wanted to switch to the newest thing, which was CDs but y'know, give him some time to move on to mp3s, hehe.

Way back in the misty mists of time, pre-google no less, I was working in an office with someone who had no idea how to find something on the internet - this was before it was clever to say "on the internets" or "on the interwebs" so we just said "internet". I know - so primitive, how did we even live?

Right. So one day I was at my desk and I heard a frantic yelling and hollering and "turn it off! make it stop!" and that sort of ruckus. So I meandered over to see what the fun fuss was about, and I got to watch my supervisor playing whack-a-mole with a bunch of fleshy pop-ups. And I do mean windows, but also, well, penises. And other bits.

Turns out she'd been told to search for some information using "hotbot.com", and she'd typed in "hotbox.com".

Such were the perils of the bad old days on the internet.
