Post your desktop/ide in use

Posted 28 November 2012 - 11:03 PM

This is probably a re-post but its always interesting to see how other people code. I use tmux + vim + web browser and sometimes gedit if I just quickly make something.

Yes, this is a recurring favorite, as discussions go.

People will complain, wah, wah, wah, he started a discussion that we've had before. Crybabies, I'd say. Whatever. For me, vi and the appropriate compiler/editor is the way to go. If there's a repl, I'm at least half of the time in the repl.

This looks more like a wallpaper than what I meant. More actual ides, editors, debuggers, and other things you have open and how you have them setup for coding.

What's the colorscheme you're using in VIM? I've been in the standard "desert" for a while now.

It looks good. I had a colorful one called Jungle-256, but it was so old that updates to syntax files caused it to miss entire groups between different machines. Desert was always consistent so I swapped back to that.
