Just ask the question and if someone does answer then you know they know. Logic.

That certainly makes some sense.

I got a security webcam and I need to get the live stream from it , the camera can be accessed by IP and it's connected to my laptop through a simple LAN cable . However, if I go to the IP address it doesn't simply display the image but it also has some menu around on the side and some other things. Also, another issue is that the page where the camera displays its livestream uses ActiveX which can only be accessed by IE.
I also tried with Qt by making a simple WebView window and only show the camera , but it can't display it since it doesn't have an ActiveX plugin (at least not one that I've heard of).

So my question is : Can OpenCV help me directly access the live stream and output it into my application ?
