Bug report on forum... Fast Reply Button Not working.

Posted 29 November 2012 - 02:22 PM

Don't know if this is where I should post this or not, but...

The "Fast Reply" and POST button isn't working. I've had to repost twice on some long winded responses with code - all the button did was redirect me to the forum home page... and not submit my topic post.
Just thought you should know.

(just for info purposes: using latest version of firefox on win 7)

This bug is fairly well documented both in Site Questions area (here) and Site Feedback.

This has been documented before.
Rarely, but it happens, you can hit post and notice that you didn't stay in the thread but instead went directly to the forum list page. If that happens you know your post wasn't posted.

I've gotten into the automatic habit of Cntrl-A, Cntrl-C before hitting post. That way my entire post is copied to the clipboard. If the post fails I go back to the thread, reload the thread by clicking its title (which is a link) then paste in my comments on the refreshed page.

Thank you for letting us know, mb2000inc!

In order to keep things simple, though, lets keep the discussion on this issue in the thread tlhIn`toq linked to.
