I need to design such a system that will use devices such as : Printer, scanner, cam.
which language is easier to use!! I'm searching now for two days and I can't find the answer. Some said C language and others said VB!! I'm confused!!

Easier is relative to who you ask. I find C easier than VB. Where-as a VB developer is going to say VB is easier than C. There isn't a right-wrong answer.

As No2 says there is now right answer here. Most of them use some libraries in form of dll or ocx that you can use in both languages. of course if your going to make a GUI VB.NET will be easier then C. C on other hand can be used on any platform so this is a big + too. It all depends what you want to do and how familiar you are with given language

I may be a little late to the topic but I would go with whatever you're more comfortable with. A little online search can tell what libraries are available for using external hardware. For a purely Windows app, .NET is probably the better option. If your writing driver software, C would be probably be one of the best languages to do it with. I have used VB.NET with hardware, albeit mainly using it to transfer data to and from micro-controller systems.
