It is a pleasure to meet all of you. Just thought I'd introduce myself rather than merely lurk about.

I guess I should do it properly then. I'm a high school student, from Canada whose going into college this coming fall. I've a bit of history with coding, I've been self teaching, or rather attempting and doing an exceedingly poor job or it, for the past four or perhaps five years now since I was around thirteen years old. Admittedly I had no bloody clue what I was doing for a majority of that so I'm still pretty much a raw beginner. I have some limited experience in web development and a bit of C++ knowledge. Canada, ah - I'd like to visit it sometime. If you're interested, there are some fine tutorials here, for many topics - these may be just what you need. Don't neglect old fashioned books either, there are recommendations in language-specific FAQ topics, usually.

I'm usually around C/C++ boards, but I do have an occasional peek at Web Development and PHP, so we just may see each other again soon enough.
