So is no one here following the wonderful story of software developer & antivirus pioneer John McAfee?
On April 30, 2012, McAfee's property in Orange Walk Town, Belize, was raided by the Gang Suppression Unit. A GSU press release stated that he was arrested for unlicensed drug manufacturing and possession of an unlicensed weapon. He was released without charge after being detained for a few hours.
On November 12, 2012, Belize police started a search for McAfee as a "person of interest" in connection to the murder of American expatriate Gregory Viant Faull. Faull, a neighbor of McAfee, was found dead of a gunshot wound on November 10, 2012, at his home on the island of Ambergris Caye. No one has been formally charged. In an interview with Wired, McAfee maintains his innocence. He also says that he is afraid the police will kill him and refused routine questions with police, and has since been evading the Belizean authorities. Belize's prime minister Dean Barrow called McAfee "extremely paranoid, even bonkers".
this was posted on cnn yesterday.
Over the weekend a blog maintained by McAfee and others claimed that the software tycoon, who is wanted for questioning about a murder in Belize, had been detained on the Belizean/Mexico border. But today a new blog post, written under McAfee's name, said that the "John McAfee" taken into custody was actually a "double" who was carrying a North Korean passport with McAfee's name.

Maybe when he's finally brought to justice, they can stick him in with Hans Reiser, & they two of them can really turn out some code.

I read about it some time ago and couldn't really believe it. It like reading a headline like, "Steve Jobs wanted for questioning in relation to a meth lab in Beirut."
Completely out of left field, at least from my outsider point of view, who knows how this guy was in person.
I read that he frequented some Russian drug message board and was working in a hut in the jungle fixing up some aphrodisiac concoction. Completely bonkers!
Sounds like something from a movie! Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

The real question is: What's his name on Dream in Code?

He's acting exactly like a new retiree here who has just discovered all five of his girlfriends will give him yaba if he asks, on the condition that they invite other girls over: he sees sexy party, the reality is that it's in order to get friends money from what will be remembered as sex, spread the actual sex between enough people to make it painless, and create a new customer with a habit who can be visited once a month any time after the burnouts and crashes take their effect.

Get women hooked on drugs, receive sex for drugs.
That's how I read it.

No, no, you sillies...
Girls pimp selves and drugs for money from old guy who will be a guaranteed recurring customer of at least one of their products!
They must have studied with the Russians.

Py4Prez got it right, the girls pimp the drugs and each other for easy money from horny retirees who have it to burn and want to try new things, at least the first week or two- like expensive addictive drugs, local party spots, drinking games, dirty pics on facebook, and sex with teenagers without the disadvantage of being one and not knowing what to do with which, where, or how.
To say nothing of the ladyboys, marriages with bargirls (like those above), and gay relationships here. If/when it ever happens, sex is really something we're going to have to prove to aliens visitors, because they aren't going to believe we'd bother with it, whenever we encounter them, and I worry that they will either be bored with at least half of all content we've ever produced, or will take advantage of it by pushing our genetic buttons for unfair exchanges in their favor.
Then again, that may actually explain the probes, which I'm sure millionaire antivirus developers everywhere worry about, and not just this guy.

If all the aliens are is bored when they get here, I'd consider that a big win...
