"Remember me" thread? Haha I'm not going anywhere! DIC is still very important to me, and while I've been busy and less active lately, that should pass. I consider the DIC community my friends and I wanted to share this with you guys. I'm not extremely active in the Lounge, but I've been diligent in the Python section for years and I really do want to be a little more involved in the lounge too.

Does this program force you to commit to a certain time frame - lets say 1 year, 2 years - or is it entirely up to you for how long you will be staying there?

if you were around enough to read all the 'remember me' threads you would absolutely recognize that this is a 'remember me' thread.

but you aren't, which is why you made a 'remember me' thread.

glad you are figuring things out and seem happy though. in a place where people can't figure out which fucking console to buy without the input of strangers, it's nice to see someone take real steps toward their own happiness.

I think I might have misinterpreted what a "remember me" thread is then. I assumed you meant it was some sort of goodbye. I don't think I've been inactive enough to really need to write a thread to say "hey guys, remember me?" This month has been more sparse, but I never really thought anyone would forget me. I've been here for years, I was one of the original forum leaders, and I've put in quite a few snippets and tutorials in just the last 6 months. I never thought for a second that anyone here would have forgotten me so soon.

Admittedly, I did feel a litte bad about having been so inactive for the last month and maybe on some level that was in the back of my head when I wrote it. I dunno, I guess I never looked at it as some attempt to make sure I'm not forgotten though. :-\

Anyways, I'm happy about this decision. I considered Busan because it's near the ocean and has better weather, but a quick search on meetup.com shows that it's not nearly as active as Seoul. I don't want the high prices of Seoul, so I've settled on trying to get into one of the Satellite cities near Seoul.

Hmm... just a _little_ bad? Okay - we need to turn up the subliminal messaging and create a stronger trigger!

Have fun! English teachers are highly revered and make bank over there. Especially if you do well and then some rich family wants a private tutor for their children.

Hot bean paste soup is the best.
