First advice: One piece of punctuation is more than enough.
Second: If you want a serious, well thought out answer, you had better post a serious, well thought out question. You get back what you put in. Members are far more likely to respect someone who has honest questions than someone that wants to be coddled from ground zero.
Third: Closely related to second, be professional. That means good spelling, clarity, and getting to the point. Networking is vague, very vague. Are we talking the HR term, Unix Networking, Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, what? This is an effective equivalent of running up and shouting I want to know Math, no one knows what that really means because of the breadth of the field.

I am going to second what Lemur said, but suggest you look at the cisco certification site. It will give you an idea of "areas" of study and expertise, and some of what it required, and might help in pointing you in the right direction.
