Very nice quality on those. You take yourself, or just collect?

I was wondering the same thing. I know you can use anything with a Creative Commons license so I'm pretty sure this means anything on Wikipedia is OKAY to use as long as you properly attribute the original author/photographer. Flickr supposedly releases ALL user content under CC license. Everything and anything with an MIT license is fair game. GNU is usually good for something also. It's more important to show your appreciation with a link back to the copyright holder, but with an MIT license, that's not even necessary. I've been happy with 123rf, as they have very cheap stock photos for sale, $1-$4 per photo, and you can use unlimited exposure for them on a site. If you're making a theme, however, you'll need to get the extended electronic license, which runs about $75 per photo.
For example:

...is only $1 to use.
Before these guys I used http://www.istockphoto.com, and I used to be happy with them, but they consistently raised prices on me. Originally, it was just a few dollars per photo, now it's up to $300 or so for a single photo! I'm impressed with the quality of photos that shutterstock provides, and the prices aren't so bad - unless you plan to use them in themes, then it goes up a bit, but there is a serious difference in quality.
Or you can get free photos from wikipedia-

All are my pictures, since I got my DSLR camera (Nikon D3100).
I have a passion for photography and I don't make money from this website (I'm a programmer). It's just a personal collection that I like to share. If you like to use, no problem, just don't sell as owner.
As a simple evidence that I'm the owner, you can see that most pictures have the EXIF information and, I also own some of them in RAW format.
