have you guys ever tried installing apache only to get multiple (multiple, multiple) pop ups refering to the files etc
only to have it fully installed (xampp) and have no output when running a .php page locally?
i had it installed like 2 years ago on old laptop lol but what is the best way to install it and have it work perfectly (yes i unistalled it)
my fear is installing apache again only to receive those weird messages and not have php run for some reason
i know theres a simple answer what is it? thanks
i completley deleted it from my computer other than htdocs

Step 1. Download xampp server to run php and mysql from the below link.

1) Download the zip,
2) Unzip and place in C:
3) Open c/xampp/xampp_controll.exe
4) Start Mysql, Apache
5) Open browser
6) Type http://127.0.0.1 (xampp default page opens)
7) You have successfully installed xampp server
Step 2. Download fresh copy of cakephp 1.3. Then Unzip and place it in C:\xampp\htdocs
