Hello Everyone,

I am writing technical specification of a VB 6.0 based measuring tool.

I have the source code of this tool.

Can Anybody tell me how to begin and write down the technical specification ?

A detailed answer would highly be appreciated.

You would write it like if you were just starting to write a tech doc or system design doc. Overall goal, inputs, outputs, where the users butt up to the system, classese, database designs, etc. Having the source code is helpful since you can see exactly what is needed and cover it completely (versus writing it before you start and using the docs as a framework to build the app).
