I have been doing html tutorials and i am working on loading images but they wont load in my page everything seems right i just had it working any help is appreciated thank u

You're missing your file extension. images/apple.png or apple.gif, apple.jpg, etc.

Ugh i knew it ws somethin stupid like that thank you why is it that in my program it allows me to have a blank background but when i put it on the website it isnt blank but has a background???

What file extension are you saving it as? Not all of them support transparency, which is what you are referring to. The most common used for transparency on the web is PNG. Save it as that and try it again.

Great! Ok i will remember how that works so last question i use paint.net but is gimp a better prog 2 use for this stuff

Eh, pretty much do the same thing. I've always preferred GIMP, but that's because it was the first I ever used and stuck with it. If you're already familiar with paint.net, just stick with it.
