Does anyone know where i can find a good online tutorial or website that will completely explain pygame or at least get me started.

I would start with the tutorials suggested on the pygame site itself.

If you want to completely understand it, I suggest going through the reference docs, or just read through the source code. Nothing short of that will give you complete understanding of it.

There are two free PDFs here that are really not bad. Starts at the beginning (Guess the Number) and ends with some decent arcade type games using pygame.

Ok, someone really should have stated the obvious a lot sooner. There's a search bar at the top right corner of this website. If you type pygame into that search bar and then click on tutorials, this is your first result.
