I couldn't find a proper forum to put this in, thought I would start here. I wasn't doing anything particular, but when I clicked on FF it made a folder called old Firefox data, the next thing I know it stops working. The old folder has data that I use in FF. I get the message "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. How can I get FF back? I've been using IE and hate it. Please help.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro.

Have you done all the normal stuff:
Reboot
Uninstall FF - Reinstall FF
Run a solid anti-virus check
Boot to a different WIndows User and see if FF works there so you know if it is the program install, or your user account.
... blah blah..

Have you Tried forgetting about firefox?
Try Chrome. It's also free; and it's interface is quite like FF's
At least give it a shot.

Agree. If to choose between FF and Chrome, the latter is faster and better (imho, surely). I've got Flash crashes in FF recently, and updates don't really change the situation.
