How do you edit posts?

Posted 19 December 2012 - 04:57 AM

Hi guys

It's probably incredibly obvious and staring me in the face, but where is the option to edit a post I've just made?

I've looked everywhere and can't for the live of me find it :cry2:/>

Thanks a lot :)/>

Hey.

Members with 15 posts or less can't edit their posts. The reason for this is explained here. Once you reach 16 posts, an "Edit" button will appear next to the quote buttons on your posts.

Just make sure not to use the edit functionality to remove your post content; that's the reason we restricted it in the first place.

I don't really understand why anyone would do that anyway.

As as far as I'm concerned, if you don't want people to be able to see code etc, then don't post it in the first place....

Because they shouldn't be posting here. Some people are dumb, & their school says specifically not to ask for help online. So they register here (most often under their actual first-name/last-name), & after they receive their help, they edit their posts with 'Working, thank you!'. It's absolutely selfish, & idiotic.

Now we get to put up with their constant rambling of how they will get a zero because they cheated. & it's somehow our fault.

Haha, good! Although you have little to worry about in my case, I'm a professional Java EE programmer whose current project at work seems to be lasting forever; I assist on several coding forums simply to pass the time when I'm bored ;)

Anyway, thanks for the info guys.......I'll now delete my original post.............i'm joking......seriously, I'm joking :P
