What is this transition called ? How was it achieved?

Hi guys ,

I am kinda new to web programming , so I wanted to do something like the web below.

When you click on the button on the navigation menu , it scrolls to the specified divs .

May i know how was it achieved ? What was being used ? Sorry i couldn't provide anymore information as i don't know the exact terms for searching . :(

Off the top of my head, ScrollTo comes to mind. ScrollTo ScrollTo-SerialScroll ScrollTo-LocalScroll
