2012 Loot List

Keeping in DIC tradition, here be the thread where you tell us all about your holiday loot.

Aside from a mysterious box of what appears to be awesomely gourmet foodstuffs apparently sent by my adoring throngs of awesomely nerdy Pseudo-Groupies of Greatness, I won't have any loot to talk about until New Year's Day when we have our big family Christmas at my parents place.

So, in the meantime, keep me dreaming: What did YOU get for Christmahannasolstikwanzfestivus?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 5

New Bass Guitar (Dean, 5 String), a Line 6 Bass Pod, a TARDIS Lamp, and 3 new Green Day CDs(Uno, Dos, Tre)

Bought myself: 3 new monitors and a six-monitor stand with full motion arms, a server, and a 10" Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

A laptop cooler, which is really more for me than it is for the laptop. Now I can finally sit on the sofa while doing something somewhat productive without feeling like I'm in the depths of hell. :innocent:/>/> Other than that I did get a cologne as well, which seems to be a tradition in my family. I've got about 8-9 bottles in my bathroom, none of which I had to purchase myself. So all in all I'd say it's been a pretty good Christmas. Oh and a Star Wars t-shirt from my girlfriend, almost forgot. Plus another "No, I will not fix your computer" t-shirt. Got the first on my last birthday.

It's a brave man that posts pictures of his mistress posing with the gifts he received from his wife.

That's one of my employees Tari, & she's best friends with my wife, she was helping her in case the delivery men wanted to give my wife more than just head stones.

We also bought our cats from her.

There is nothing even remotely mysterious about her ;)

FFS, my wife took that photo! lol

Well, my mom hasn't gotten the grasp that I've lost weight, so I got a really pretty sweater.... size 2x :/ I hope I can find a large when I go to exchange it. She did get me my size jeans, which is a little loose thankfully. I also got a nice shirt that although was a size big, it looked good on me. And she got me candies mmmmmmmmmmm. I also got my tablet and my Rocky Horror Picture Show early. Let's see.... got some Hello Kitty slippers, a Thirtyone bookbag for school (if I ever get in), my Juicy Couture perfume, a sock monkey, nail polish, and some socks.

The holiday season is when we get all our presents in for the year. We start with my brother's birthday in December, then Hanukkah and Christmas, then end with my birthday after the new year.

So far, I've gotten:
-A heavy Virginia Tech Under-Armour Jacket, which is awesome as it helps insulate against the Blacksburg wind.

-Gift Cards to: Shell, Five Guys, and California Pizza
-New Vans
-A Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock t-shirt
-A digits of Pi t-shirt
-New headphones
-New Gloves
-Some cooking equipment and a cookbook, in preparation for moving to an apartment next year. Plus, I've really started to get (back) into cooking!

-Renewed XM Radio subscription
-Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal by Ayn Rand

First it was my bitch'n art book and game (yes BetaWar that Deus Ex is growing on me and I am getting damn good at the sneaky and the stabbie) from my secret satan.

Last night, in the family secret santa, I got a nook glow-worm or something another. It seems I will be dragged into this digital age. *sigh* What's next? Me jumping on this "smart phone fad"? Ha.

In a fit of crazy surprise my middle sister dispensed 9x9 pans of mom's famous egg casserole to our other sister, Pops, and myself. It took some will not to make it last night while futzing around back at my place, but it was all the better this morning when I devastated that pan while flipping between the Christmas Parade and Supernatural.

As for gifts given in the secret santa it was a hex-bug kit and 'rare bug' coupled with a shopko gift card to my dad's wife's son. He was thoroughly enthused.
