When it's time to get it done, nothing puts the pedal to the metal like the Black Mages.

Note to self: revisit playing Black Mages guitar parts. This was something I did years ago, and knew how to play several songs, and now that I'm better at guitar, I bet I can actually play solos and not fuck up a bajillion times.

Anything with little to no lyrics. Lyrics will trip me up. Unless they're repeating lyrics, because they just blend in like they're an instrument.
This is why I'll tend towards electronic when working.
Also foreign bands work for me too, as again the lyrics just fade back as if they're another instrument.
And nothing that puts me to sleep. So no guitars and none of that atmospheric music mumbo jumbo.

I've got a Pandora station that plays trance. It works well enough.
Of course, I'm not really coding. I am really just reading my textbook
teaching myself.

Massive Attack's Mezzanine album is a great trip-hop album that I listen to whilst coding.
