I normally just a function to construct to entity context model like:

But with the EntityDataSource object I need it in the web.config file in the connectionString section. No matter what I use I get a parsing error on the file. Like Data Source and Initial Catalog not supported. I have been searching for hour and my connection string should be right - so what is wrong with my config file?

As I get deeper: The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication.. So I need to come up with a diff plan. I was liking the whole login control and authentication, but it does not work with Entity.

Yeah, I found many articles and that one too. No it was not helpful. What was helpful was designing my own login controls and logic.
