There will be some continuing themes - expect some challenges which address basic data structures, some simulation challenges (we're working with macosxnerd101 on some economics-oriented ones which should be fun), some games, and so forth. There will also be a few weird ones.
We have a pretty good list of candidate challenges, but we're happy to take suggestions. If you have something you think would make a fun challenge, send one of us a PM and we'll take a look. Of course, feedback is welcome. We're making this up as we go along, so we'd love it if you help us steer. Again, send us a PM if you have any comments.
I'm posting the first one today, but generally we'll be looking at Thursday night/Friday morning (depending on your location) as the drop time.
As always, if you have a solution, post it in spoiler tags for those who are still working on it.
Hope you enjoy them!
This thread will also contain a list of challenges as the weeks go on, we'll keep it pinned up the top for easy access:
Challenge 1 [2nd January 2013]: Bagels
Challenge 2 [18th January 2013]:Parens Code Golf
Challenge 2 [1st February 2013]:Loo Queue
