What I want to know is this: why did they target D.I.C? Its not like we don't have thousands of programmers with at least decent anti-virus programs that block viruses.

People personalize hackers too much. These days, it's not like someone with a grudge is taking down most sites like this. It's usually more of an automated attack that'll inject it's malware into any site it can.
Hacking these days isn't about the basement-dwelling nerd exercising his skills. It's about profit, via information capture and scams. Injecting malware into a site means they can get it on many computers, meaning they can serve ads and steal passwords much easier.
The Forum Software isn't home-grown, it's a package, and as such, that means that when a vulnerability is discovered, it works against most of the sites that use the software, not just one.
So really, we probably didn't get "targeted". We probably got hit with a net cast very broadly.
If anything, I'm impressed with browser technology. Multiple different browsers had the capability of detecting the malicious code, and blocking access to the site automatically.

Its been cleared up since early this morning. I'm using chrome now, without getting any warnings, as I've been doing since about 7:30 AM PST today. If you're having problems, you might want to consider that your computer caught one of the viruses from yesterday.

Opera too issues a warning
Its a fraud warning information supplied by Yandex.
I am still getting that phishing chineese related ad that I reported some time ago...
However no longer getting warnings about Trojans that seems to have been fixed.
Skyhawk needs to contact Yandex and set them straight.
DIC is such a great site I hate to see it rep tarnished like this...
Best Wishes to all those trying to fix this.
Snoopy.

I am still getting quite a few of the following warnings:
I think it is on my end. What do I need to "reset" to clear these errors? I'm using Firefox 17.0.1 and the problem only occurs when either trying to post an answer to a topic or hitting the "back" button. It doesn't happen every time but it's still very often. If have tried to clear the history and cookies multiple times to no avail.
