I think the correct questions is: Do you want to write a web browser in .NET, and if so, why?

There are plenty of web browsers, do we really need YA. (YA = Yet Another)

Do you have the technical skills to write a web browser, which includes a parser and tokenizer (to parse and tokenize the HTML and XML), the ability to embed scripting language interpreters for things like Javascript, and the ability to write a rendering engine (probably the easiest task in the whole process.)

Is C# the best language to write a web browser in?

etc, etc, etc.

Sometimes doing things just because it hasn't been done before is a little like banging your head into a wall. Maybe there's a reason it hasn't been done yet.

Just my $.02
