Probably related to the malware we had earlier this week, but I just noticed that Snippets page directed to by the button at the top is broken. Just loads a page saying "No input file specified."

We turned off the snippets entirely as we feel that was the source of the attack.

Is this indefinite? I'm assuming they'll be back at some point?

Aah thats why my snippets are missing,
an OP had asked a question and I was going to just direct him to my
relevant snippet but found I had just one snippet listed, File Time and Date snippet
So if you turned off all the snippets why have I got one snippet left in my
contributions list ?
anyway I rewrote the snippet for the OP so no harm done I suppose.
Best Wishes to all those trying to fix this.
Snoopy.

could a script be written to convert snippets to posts in a new forum? That way it just works the way tutorials work more or less.

can we make a repository somewhere that only contributing members gain access too, so that other site members can also download from there? Perhaps using ones personal dream.in.code log-in? I don't even use the snippets themselves in practice but they've been extremely beneficial in just observational studies of how different elements are implemented. If someone needed an active and human log-in to even download snippets, it might boost actual participation around here.

Is there any plan for the snippets to return? Sometimes use it as a resource to point people to.

Yeh, it'll be back once we migrate to the new server this week.

Just a heads up. I'm still getting 404 errors when trying to access snippets.
Hope all goes well with moving to new servers!

You are getting a 404 error because the snippets has not returned yet. While the site has been switched over to the new servers I'm sure skyhawk133 will restore the snippets when he feels he can without causing future problems.
EDIT: Fixed grammatical error.
