on centOS 6.2, i use crontab -e to create a cron job.

*/1 * * * * php /home/siteid/public_html/test.php>/home/siteid/public_html/test.log

this works fine.

in SSH, i do a date, and it shows 04:29 1/7 as the current time.

I change the above line to:

31 4 7 1 * php /home/siteid/public_html/test.php>/home/siteid/public_html/test.log

and it does not work?

g37752, please be patient, sometimes it takes bit for people to answer on this forum.

With that said, have you tried running your command manually before inserting it into cron? What is the result?
