But I've already shown you an example of stupid code being accepted by another language! It's unavoidable with every language in existence so why single one out, especially for doing something that is often an advantage (whether you like it or not) to the programmer?

You showed me 1 thing and I'd bet you could show me a handful more. PHP, the way I see it, has a few dozen handful more pitfalls with things I don't see as being that advantages. You keep saying how automatic number to string and string to number conversions are so helpful, and I agree they can be, but that's just 1 thing. The issue is a lot more than just 1 thing.
