Help with Tap Counter

So im making an app that counts the times the screen is pressed in a minute (very basic app{sorta new to android coding})
so what is there to do this?

Check out the OnTouchListener.

Mac's idea is a great solution, but you can aso override the onTouchEvent() of An Activity, just in case you do not want to create a view the entire size of your screen and have it capture events.
