In short, the guy who was the administrator of a business we are networking for has stopped answering calls. He hosts the companies website on his own servers. We have been trying to find who registers this domain for awhile so we can get a hold of them and prove that we are now taking over the business so that we can have the URL redirected to our web servers IP. Can anyone help?

There's a ton of 'whois' query sites.. godaddy has one.. 1and1.. etc..

You can lookup the whois info on the domain to get some information about the domain register & try calling those numbers. However if he is out-right ignoring the phone calls there is little you can do.

In 2012 I helped a customer (through a lawyer I work with at my business) to pull domain names from web squatters. You might be out the content, but at least you could get the domains back.

Not sure what else to suggest.

Also, not sure how you set this up but when you go with an individual that hosts websites on their own pc out of their house, well you get what you pay for.

Yeah, i think im onto something, i tried a few whois but i just now got one that came back with some Tucows company that sells domains, and they gave me the distributor that sold that domain, but im waiting to hear back from them.
